Comikey Brasil announces the arrival of Villains Are Destined to Die
Comikey Brasil is pleased to announce the release of Villains Are Destined to Die (O Único Destino dos Vilões é a Morte) in Brazilian Portuguese. Following the recent announcement of Solo Leveling, the title is the second major series to arrive through the company's ongoing collaboration with the Korean publisher D&C Media, this time bringing one of its flagship romance fantasy hits to Portuguese-speaking readers.
Adapted from the web novel by Gwon Gyeoeul and illustrated by SUOL, Villains Are Destined to Die has been serialized since 2020 and became one of the most-read webcomics on Kakao Page in South Korea, establishing itself as one of the defining titles of the "villainess" romance fantasy genre. In 2026, the series won the SMARTOON category at the Piccoma AWARD, the annual reader-driven award of one of Japan's largest digital comics platforms. Its main story reached its conclusion in July with chapter 214, and a TV anime adaptation was officially announced shortly after. The series is published in more than ten languages and remains one of the best-selling print titles of Ize Press, Yen Press' imprint dedicated to Korean comics.
According to figures reported at the time of the anime announcement, the webtoon has accumulated over 14.8 million views and 1.5 million likes, while the original novel has surpassed 1.7 million views.

Synopsis: The otome game "Daughter of the Duke, Love Project" is easy to clear when playing as the heroine. But in hard mode, as the despised villainess Penelope Eckhart, a single misstep leads to death, and there is no reset button. Now trapped inside the game, Penelope must win the affection of one of the male leads to reach the ending, all in a single attempt. The problem is that the five love interests are extremely hard to win over, each for their own reasons, and time is against her: once the true heroine appears, the game's difficulty rises dramatically.
