Growth Marketing Specialist
Job Description:
As the ideal candidate, you must have the ability to plan, conceptualize, strategize, implement, and report on marketing, public relations, and advertising processes in accordance with the team and organization’s goals. The Growth Marketing Specialist ensures branding consistency across all media platforms (e.g. websites, content marketing, networking on social media, e-commerce, search and social advertising, SEO, marketing automation, apps, media/blogger/influencers outreach, etc.). The position is instrumental in planning, designing, implementing and running robust 360 campaigns for the company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or advertising for an English audience with experience of running robust 360 campaigns
- Experience in entertainment/publishing marketing/business is a definite plus but not a must
- A great storyteller and a passionate fan of stories — You can comfortably articulate comics or other media you like and why you like it
- Social media literacy — Based on the deep knowledge of ins-and-outs of key social channels, you understand how to engage with our female audience in their 20s in the US and other English-speaking countries, and intrinsically know what is needed to be their friends
- Adept at working across different functions in a fast-paced start-up environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Social Media Coordinators and Graphic Designers by establishing goals, measuring project performance, and providing leadership development to achieve marketing goals and customer satisfaction
- Suggest new ways of improving the quality of design and other project issues
- Assist the Marketing team in determining what projects the company should focus on advertising that will increase user retention and decrease cost of user acquisition
- Spearhead the creation and implementation of promotional events
- Support the Marketing team with research, analysis, and reporting
- Successfully develop and implement programs to increase customer awareness, deepen engagement, and increase usage of Comikey’s social media channels
- Maintain high-level working knowledge of company systems, processes, and policies
- Finalize and reviews various materials such as social media posts, designs, press releases, ads, and articles
- Enforce and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the effective and efficient operation of Comikey’s Marketing team
- Collaborate with leaders in other departments to act as a cross-functional liaison that will follow up internally on escalated or unresolved issues
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with executive management to ensure positive positioning of the company and resolve business issues or challenges
- Participate in weekly reviews concerning the marketing team’s performance and projects and report concerns
- Develop a love and following for our library of comics
